One stock level for all channels
The simplest mistake with several channels is selling stock you no longer have. A new buyer gets a cancelled order, and a new account has no ratings yet to offset it. That is why we set up the integration at the start, not when orders begin to go missing. Depending on the company, that means Base (formerly BaseLinker), Apilo or Sellero. There is one stock level, and every channel reads it instead of keeping its own version.
This is how one broad-assortment reseller got started. It launched in Germany from practically zero, with no sales history and no ratings, and on three platforms at once: Amazon, eBay and Kaufland. Everything ran from a single Apilo panel. Panel screenshots from April 2026 show EUR 23,000 in Amazon sales over the previous 30 days. On Kaufland, turnover reached EUR 10,224.41 in seven days, from 1 to 7 April. The client asked to remain anonymous, so we will not name them.
Account and listings in the buyer's language
Every platform has its own checklist to complete before it accepts the first listing: company details, shipping terms, return policy, tax information. It is better to work through it before launch than after the first order. Taxes, including VAT and OSS, we leave to an advisor or partner, but you need to think about them at this stage, not after the fact.
Listings work the same way. A buyer in Germany types different words into the search bar than a translated Polish description would suggest. So we write the copy, search terms and attributes separately for each country and each platform. Machine translation can help with a working draft. It should not publish the finished listing.
Advertising on listings that are ready
Advertising a listing with data errors or no stock burns budget and teaches you nothing. So we start by making sure the listing is complete and in stock. Only then do we add campaigns. We agree the scope of advertising with the client. Sometimes we run it ourselves, sometimes we advise their team. We recommend the channels, but the decision always belongs to the seller.
Customer service in the local language
A buyer from France writes in French and expects a reply in the same language. Marketplaces watch how sellers respond to buyers, so a neglected inbox can damage the whole account. Hiring a separate person for each language rarely makes sense for a company that is only testing a market.
That is why we leave this part to Salesupply. They handle post-sale buyer service: questions, complaints and disputes, in the languages of the markets where we sell with our clients. We run the accounts, listings, advertising and integrations. Salesupply handles the conversations with buyers. The seller does not have to find a separate provider for each language.
Country by country, with the same process
Entering several countries at once usually ends the same way: a scattered team, listing errors, logistics that cannot keep up. That is why, in a marketplace launch, the first question is which market to start with. Only then do we open accounts.
That was the case with EMIX24, which had previously sold only in Poland. Before launching anything, we worked out which market would bring the most with the least operational strain. The answer was Germany: Amazon, eBay and Kaufland, with bulky items on XXXLutz. We connected the order management system to the client's ERP and WMS, so a new platform did not mean another person clicking through orders. Once Germany was stable, we took the same process to France. Listing templates and procedures were already in place, so only the language and an analysis of the local competition had to be done from scratch. Today EMIX24 sells in both countries with the same team as in Poland.
Your first country should leave behind templates you can use to launch the second. Run it that way and the next market is a repeat of a cycle you already know.
Editor's note from Marketplace365: Marketplace365 is the Salesupply Poland service the author describes in the customer service section. We answer buyers on Amazon, eBay, Kaufland and other platforms in the languages of the markets where you sell. Details on the Marketplace365 page.
EUROSELL is a small team that runs marketplace sales: Amazon, Allegro, Kaufland, eBay, Temu, eMAG and others. We also implement integrations and automations in Base, Apilo and Sellero. Sometimes we advise the client's team, sometimes we run a selected part of the sales or all of it. We leave customer service to partners such as Salesupply.
